A yukata is a Japanese garment, a casual summer kimono usually made of cotton or synthetic
fabric, and unlined. Today I wanted to practice drawing a person full length.
Yukata is
much easier to draw compare to Kimono. I drew without a model which was quiet difficult
for me as I prefer reproducing or
using a model photo. It took 2 minutes to make a sketch, and 20 minutes for
drawing. I understood that I can produce a better work with details in much
shorter time then when I use water-colors. So I might use a pencil for my final
work which I am going to do within a month. I’ve already started to make
some ideas for the final piece, and I’ve made some sketches.
-Learning outcomes are;
-Increase awareness of my strengths and areas for growth
-Undertake new challenges
-Planned and initiative ativities
-Developed new skills
