Art Project- water colors 2

This time I drew Japanese traditional style 'Mikaeri Bijin' which can be translated as Beauty looking back. The famous 'Mikaeri Bijin Zu' was drawn by Hishikawa Moronobu in Edo Period. This time I drew Mikaeri Bijin in my own style. I used water colors which turned out to be a very good choice. It took only about one hour and a half to draw. I’m very glad that I could manage my time to use efficiently. But I realized that I have many things to learn and practice. Next time, I will use either chalks or water colors again.

INTERNATIONAL DAY 3

Our plan worked very well and I think people enjoyed Team Japan very much :)
The quiz was very interesting and we provided useful information about Japan and its culture. Everybody liked Chihiro's snacks, and Fukuwarai entertained people very well. It was a bit difficult to organize in the end, because all of us were really tired. And I was really nervous to talk in front of everybody, but as I promised Chihiro and Shun to take the chair and organize the presentation and the game, I tried all me best. I knew that I made some mistakes in English, but I tried to look confident. This opportunity made me a much more better communicator than before:D

But I'm sure it wrothed that. I'm very proud of what we've done.
When time was left, we decided to show Shun's CAS film and play another Japanese game, Yamanote Sen Game. So we could take proper steps to meet the situation which is awesome! :D
However, I thought it would be better if we've had a rehearsal. But we still did a great job.

INTERNATIONAL DAY 2 - ART

I was planning to draw next Maiko-San by color pencils, but as I had to draw for the Internationl day. I chose less time consuming way, drawing with water colors. I wanted to make the drawing full of Japanese culture, so I decided to draw it in Manga way. This was quiet difficult as I had to design without any models. It took about 2 hours to finish the work. But I am satisfied with my result, and my time management. And I am very glad that I could combine two different CAS activities, creativity and service.

THE INTERNATIONAL DAY 1 - TEAM JAPAN

Each of us in team Japan, has tasks to do. First, we made a brief plan and then we assign each tasks to person who would be adequate for it. Shun is the best ICT student, as I think, and he's showed an awesome CAS presentation. So we decided he'll make a power point for the quiz. Chihiro, is very good at cooking and she makes sweet for her CAS project. So we've decided that she'll make some Japanese snacks as prizes for winner of the quiz. I was assigned to make Fukuwaro - Japanese traditional game, and some decollations for the room, as I do art for my CAS Project. I also will take the chair which means I'll have to organize people on the International day.

At lunch time, we made 100 of color cards which we'll give to students each time they'll get right answers, so at the end we can count them and find out the winners.

 Planning and cutting paper.

Decolating The Wall

On 17th of October, I decollated the wall in the school with my friends, Chihiro and Shun. The wall which we chose was near the canteen. It really did not look very nice. So we decided to decollate it for the International Day.
We used many equipments and ideas to make it better. I think we did a great job, and we could contribute to the school and other students, by making the school look a bit better :)

Acticity - after a month :)

As I wrote in my CAS plan, I do my exercises every day. This is my calendar where I mark everyday after doing them. As you can see there are some days that I missed. This was because of my health issues. After a month, I realized that doing these exercises everyday is a bit taught. Maybe I should make a day off in every week...? Btu I still want to try with the same timetable for one more month to see what will happen.

And I understood that my Russian is not as bad as I used to think :) At least, I could translate some things to my friends.
